Welcome!

Whether you are new to the Bayville area, or have lived here for a while, we want to invite you to be in fellowship with us. We are the “little, white church” on Route 9, and we’ve been here (first as Bayville Trinity and now Faith Community) for over 130 years!

We offer two worship opportunities each week; at 9:30 AM on Sunday morning in a traditional worship service, and at 7 PM on Wednesday evening, in a more informal contemporary service. Since our Sunday School for children (Pre-K through High School) is also held at 9:30 AM on Sunday morning, the Wednesday evening service provides an opportunity for our Sunday School teachers to worship God, along with others who can’t be in church on Sunday.

Our Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry is open every Tuesday and Saturday from 9-11 AM. The food pantry serves an average of 140 families every month, and offers bread and fresh produce in season as well as the usual pantry staples.

We host many events throughout the year, and participate in many Outreach and Mission programs. We hold a monthly pancake breakfast on the first Saturday of every month. In January, we host a Fellowship Chili Night, which is open to anyone who wants to participate. Later in the spring, we hold our annual Flea Market, with outdoor spaces priced to allow area residents to hold their own ‘yard sale’ in our yard!

In the summer, we offer an additional worship service at the Wildwood Avenue Pavilion in Ocean Gate. Our summer beach service is the perfect way for everyone to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, in a casual and relaxed environment. Bring your own chair!

In the fall, we supply backpacks to local schools for children in need, we hold a Free Fall Fun Fest in October, and we offer a Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner. During the Christmas season, we sponsor both an Angel Tree and a Mitten & Hat Tree for local families, and we hold a Breakfast with Santa event that is open to the public.

Watch our sign on Route 9 for news of upcoming events, or check out the ‘Events’ page on our website. You can also view our full calendar via the ‘Google Calendar’ link on the website.
